A Flavoursome Weekend at Sydney's Taste Festival 2014

From Thursday March 13 to Sunday March 16, Sydney came alive with flavour as the city played host to the Taste Festival Sydney 2014. The event featured a range of Sydney's hottest new restaurants, each of which fashioned a carefully selected menu to thrill foodies from all around Australia and showcase local and seasonal produce.

According to rescu.com.au, the festival was a mix of old and new, with newbies Bloodwood, The Larder and Chur Burger serving alongside old favourites 4Fourteen, Popolo and Efendy.

Other restaurants included Aki's Indian Restaurant, Biota Dining, The Cut Bar & Grill, Longrain and Jonah's.

Special guests included Shaun Presland of Saké Restaurant & Bar and Hamish Ingham of Bar H.

With more than 100 artisan producers showcasing new and exciting products, there was something for everyone at the fun-filled festival. For those wanting more, expert mixologists and knowledgeable sommeliers were on hand to share their skills via the Wine Theatre and the Dimar Chef's Skillery showed off some local talent with tips and culinary tricks.
