Era Bistro Steps into a New Age with Chef Josh Harris

2Era Bistro, at 102 Melbourne Street in South Brisbane, is getting a menu refresh as Chef Josh Harris takes the reigns. Harris worked at the award winning French restaurant Baguette in the past, and worked alongside previous Era Head Chef Marcus Turner for 8 months so that he could match and progress Era's modern Australian menu.

The new menu was re-launched this May and shows Harris taking a bold new angle in the restaurant's dining, focusing on a more social experience with a menu of share plates that changes every 4-6 weeks. Harris said that he wants his dishes to focus on fresh, local and seasonal produce, while educating his patrons with new flavours and textures.

Harris explained that he was aiming for 'Rustic Bistro Fare', "something to make dining a truly joyous group experience with friends and colleagues."
