Top Restaurants Celebrated at SMH Good Food Guide 2014 Awards

1This year's Good Food Guide awards celebrated some of the top chefs and their restaurants in Sydney, including French-born chef Guillaume Brahimi.

Brahimi, who has been based at the Sydney Opera House, will soon be saying farewell to the kitchens there. In his time at the Opera House, Brahimi created a memorable and tantalizing restaurant that will be sorely missed by the foodies of Sydney. Showing he will leave the landmark space in style, the Sydney Morning Herald 2014 Good Food Guide recently awarded Brahimi with the "Legend"award at the Good Food Awards. Guillaume at Bennelong also scored three hats, confirming his status in Sydney cuisine one last time.

There were a few other members of the Sydney fine-dining industry who came away with accolades too, reported The Sydney Morning Herald. Ross Lusted was named chef of the year for The Bridge Room and Tetsuya-trained Martin Benn won restaurant of the year for Sepia.
