If you're all about the fireworks, Sydney annually puts up one of the best firework displays in the world. For adult-only events, the Royal Botanical Gardens offers Midnight at the Oasis ($440 incl. GST, plus booking fee) which offers waterside dining with spectacular views of the Opera House and Darling Harbour, NYE at the Calyx ($595 incl. GST, plus booking fee) which is a garden-side party with art and flora and The Point ($355 incl. GST, plus booking fee) which offers Harbour views and festival vibes.

A family friendly location includes Bradfield Point in Milson's Point, which offers both eastern and western views of the Harbour Bridge! This area is open from 8am so get in early secure the Eastern view to see the midnight waterfall fireworks off the bridge!

In Melbourne, Elevation at Eureka Tower has undoubtedly one of the best views of the city for NYE. Starting at $210pp, tickets are sure to sell out so make sure to get in quick to avoid disappointment.

Federation square is an excellent location for you and your family to watch the fireworks from. Alternatively, Luna Park is open until 6pm so you can take your kids there before heading for the 9pm fireworks and avoid the midnight rush.
